This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Forrest Frank App (the "App"). We are committed to keeping your information minimal, purposeful, and secure — and this policy describes exactly what we do and do not collect, tied directly to the features you use.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
We only collect information you actively submit through specific App features:
- Account Registration: When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number (U.S.), and ZIP code. Your phone number is used to send a one-time verification code (OTP) to confirm your identity.
- Follow Tour Sign-Up: If you choose to follow the tour without attending a specific show, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. You may optionally consent to receive email updates from us — this consent is recorded separately and you may withdraw it at any time.
- Concert Surprise Entry: When you enter the Concert Surprise drawing, you provide your seat or section location within the venue. This is used solely to facilitate the drawing and verify your presence at the show.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you register, log in, or verify your account, our servers automatically record your IP address and device User-Agent (browser or app version string). This information is stored alongside your authentication record and is used only to protect against unauthorized access and to diagnose authentication issues. It is not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.
The App stores the following data locally on your device using a secure, device-local key-value store:
- Your authentication tokens (required to keep you signed in);
- Your user ID;
- Your theme preference (light or dark mode); and
- Cached concert content (show schedules, venues, and related tour data) to allow the App to load quickly.
Importantly, your email address and phone number are not stored on your deviceafter login — only your user ID is retained in local session storage.
DEVICE PERMISSIONS
- Location: If you enable the "Nearby" feature on the Tour Dates screen, the App requests access to your device's location to sort upcoming shows by distance. Your coordinates are used only on your device for this sorting — they are never transmitted to our servers.
- Camera & Microphone: The App does not request access to your camera or microphone. An AR feature is planned for a future release but is not currently active.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information you provide for the following specific purposes:
- Account creation and authentication: Your name, email, phone, and ZIP code are used to create and verify your account. Your phone or email is passed to Twilio Verify to deliver your one-time sign-in code (see Third-Party Services below).
- Linking you to your show: Your account is associated with the concert you are attending so the App can display show-specific content (times, venue info, surprises, and exclusive features).
- Concert Surprise drawing: Your seat number is stored to facilitate the in-show drawing. It is not used for any purpose beyond the drawing itself.
- Email communications: If you consented to email updates during the Follow Tour sign-up flow, we may contact you about tour news and exclusive content. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at the email below.
- Security and fraud prevention: IP addresses and User-Agent strings logged during authentication are reviewed if suspicious access is detected.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We do not embed any third-party analytics SDK in the App. There is no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or equivalent tracking library.
The following third-party services are used for specific, limited purposes:
- Twilio Verify: When you register or log in, your phone number or email address is transmitted to Twilio to deliver your one-time verification code. Twilio's handling of this data is governed by their privacy policy at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
- Spotify: The App may display embedded Spotify playlists or link to Spotify content. If you navigate to or interact with Spotify, their privacy policy applies to that interaction.
DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data for advertising or marketing purposes outside of the services described above.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or other binding legal process, or if necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Authentication logs (IP address and User-Agent) are retained for a reasonable period for security purposes and then deleted.
Concert Surprise entries (including your seat number) are retained until the conclusion of the relevant concert, after which they are no longer needed for operational purposes.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@getforrestfrank.com. We will process your request promptly and confirm once your data has been removed.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request that inaccurate information be corrected;
- Request deletion of your personal information; and
- Withdraw consent to email communications at any time.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
